Our Design + Build team designed and constructed this minimalist sanctuary atop an existing, banked foundation. Approaching the house from the driveway side, one sees three individual forms with few windows. Once inside, the three structures become one large open space, with with walls of glass overlooking Stormville Mountain. The large, triple-glazed Austrian windows and sliding glass doors invite the owners and their dog to wander in and out of the forest that surrounds the house. A glass and metal staircase continues the transparency, while polished concrete floors reflect the light through the space.
